Missions

As a Business Development Manager specialised in Upstream Influencing, you will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities to shape the early stages of project development, all while strategically positioning the Baudoin brand in power generation markets. Your primary responsibility will entail engaging with stakeholders, engineering companies, associations, Datacentres operators, and decision-makers to establish the brand's presence and influence within the market.

Your impact:

·         Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including DC operators, engineering companies, EPCs, MEPs, industry associations, and potential partners, to gain insights into industry trends and influence decision-making processes.

·         Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitors, and opportunities aligned with the company's strategic objectives, particularly in the Datacenters market.

·         Qualification processes. Working with key companies in different sectors by providing necessary documentation in qualification processes to secure approval for Baudouin´s products.

·         Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies aimed at positioning the company in the early stages of project development (Mkt, presence in events, technical meetings, etc)

·         Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including application engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment of upstream influencing strategies with overall business goals.

·         Material Development: Lead the creation of presentations and other materials to effectively communicate the company's value proposition to external stakeholders.

·         Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyse the performance of upstream influencing initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and making necessary adjustments.

Profil

Your assests:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field. MBA is a plus.

  • Proven track record of successful business development field, preferably in the engines and generator sector.

  • Experience in Business development activities in DC realm.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, even C-Level

  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, backed by a solid understanding of market dynamics. 

  • Team player and collaborative approach.

  • Willingness to travel within the region as needed (approx. 40-50%)

  • Willingness to learn and grow.

  • English proficiency mandatory. Other language is a plus.
